What does good Health and Safety look like?

For the first time in New Zealand businesses can now answer that question with a SafePlus Assessment.

SafePlus defines what good health and safety looks like. It is not just about minimum health and safety compliance or basic audits. SafePlus is a joint initiative developed by WorkSafe NZ, ACC and the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

The expert professional assessment team at Tracecare is proud to have been appointed as the independent SafePlus Accreditation Body (SAB).

  • We accredit Health and Safety professionals to be able to use the SafePlus onsite assessment tool.

Businesses can be assured that all accredited assessors have the experience, knowledge and training to conduct a SafePlus onsite assessment that will help improve the health and safety of their business.

The SAB Accreditation Process

The SAB accreditation process ensures that assessors have the right training and competency levels to deliver an onsite assessment using the SafePlus toolkit.

Accreditation status as a health and safety practitioner will give businesses greater confidence in you as an assessor to undertake independent assessments of their health and safety performance.

2018 Training Timetable

  • The SafePlus Assessor training course is a three day course. They are held in the main centres. Course dates are staggered throughout the year.
